Restore Creation Date

A utility that will read the creation date of a file and store that information into Finder's created and modified dates.

Why you ask. Well, when you download a file from a MAM or other systems like Frame.io etc. the file will get the dates of that download, and will not keep the original date of encoding.

It even works with MXF's IF you have installed the Exiftool first. Just click om the MXF icon in the app and it will take you to the Exittool web-site. If not installed the mxf will just be ignored.
